Watercolors

I have been deeply involved with the Hopkins Center for the Arts ("HCA"), in Hopkins, Minnesota, since it opened in 1997. I started as a volunteer and supported the center in many capacities, including teaching, advising on community outreach, and providing artwork for exhibits.
These two watercolors are part of a series that were inspired by the natural beauty of Minnesota. They were exhibited in a HCA show in 2009.
The piece on the left was also highlighted in the Minneapolist StarTribune in a 2014 article, "For Hopkins art lovers, social club provides art on tap." Part of the HCA's mission is to build a community, and that includes local businesses and extending a love of art beyond the walls of the HCA.
